Rebuilding Toi Market
Jamii Bora is the largest microfinance institution in Kenya. Many of the members live in Kibera, a Nairobi slum with more than a million inhabitants. On the evening of 30 December 2007 Kenyan President Mwai Kibaki was sworn in for a second term following a widely disputed election. Riots erupted between rival ethnic groups. This short film tells the story of a community that has moved from violence to reconciliation.
